Types of Release Aids

There are many types of release aids that can be use by compound archers. Release aids just use for the compound bow to shoot. Release aids use to clipped onto the string and when you need to shoot, you click the button or pull a release aids and the string will release. The example of release aids are trigger, thumbs and back tension.

Compound Bow

The latest progression of archery is the compound bow. The compound bow is designed for maximum accuracy The eccentric cams on the end of the limbs assist the archer by reducing the holding weight when they reach full draw position. This improves the archer ability to hold steady and also accelerates the arrow from the bow increasing speed.

Name each part of compound bow
The compound bow is made up of two limbs with cams at the tips, a riser and a string. The string is much more different from a recurve as well because it is wound round the cams, making it longer. Compound bows are usually used with release aids, a trigger which is clipped onto the string and when you need to shoot, you click the button or pull a trigger and the string will release. They have a lot types of release.
Let's know about another release at my next entry.

Recurve Bow

Recurve bow is the bow style that allowed at the Olympics. Modern engineering, sights, stabilizers and carbon arrows makes the modern recurve a far superior bow than it traditional predecessors, but there still limits on the types of equipment allowed.

Name of each part of recurve bow
Recurve is a bow with 4 main parts, the riser, limbs, string and stabilizer. The riser is the part of the bow that you hold onto and it contains mounts for the sights limbs and sight. The limbs are the parts of the bow that store energy of pulling the string back before you release, there are two that attach to the top and the bottom of the riser and the string is the part which you pull back it is attached between the tips of the limbs. The stabilizer use to balance the bow for the archers shoot smoothly.
